The Indian summer has passed, temperatures have dropped, it was below freezing last night and we woke up to the second low altitude dump of the season, snow down to 1200m ( Even in summer there is snow on the Mont Blanc Massif )

The forecast for tonight is more snow, hopefully all the way down to Chamonix Town at 1045m above sea level.
Sorry about the quality of the pictures, the batteries ran out and we had to dash off to collect the new MBL land rover!
